    Welcome to the Institute of Ethnology Publishing website. Over the last fifty years the Institute has grown to be Taiwan's leading research center for anthropology, specializing in all anthropological sub-disciplines and related sociocultural disciplines including sociology, psychology, religion, and aboriginal society and history. We have published over one hundred journals and books, across a wide range of academic subjects. Growth in the quantity and quality of anthropological writing in Taiwan and internationally underlines the need for a publisher that serves anthropologist communities in the Chinese-speaking world. The Institute's publishing mission is to provide professional services to those communities and to make our own researchers' and international scholars' work available to a wider readership.
