2007 English translation of the McDonald’s book was published in Chinese as Yin-xi Quan-qou-hua (Globalization of Foodways) in Taipei: the Zaoan Caijin Press.  The book was publicized on the United Daily (Lianhe Bao) in a review article, which recommended my chapter ( pp. 115-134) to Taiwan readers as the best research paper in the book.. The Chinese translation had two new forwards by Taiwan's leading commercial corporate board directors: Mr. Kao Ching-yuan (Tung-yi Company) and Tai shiang-yi (Wang-pin Conglomerates).

2007b Delivered a Keynote Speech at the 10th Synmposium on Chinese Dietary Culture, November 12-14, 2007, held in Penang, Malaysia.  (The Speech: “Eating Out and Eating Chinese: Global encounter of Diaspora Chinese Restaurant” was included in the book form conference proceedings.)
