The Institute has a variety of computer equipment that provides users with a computing environment which includes Information Services, Computing Services, General Purpose Hosts and Mass Storage Services.  The Institute of Ethnology's computerized local area network is linked to Academia Sinica's mainframe network system, allowing researchers at the Institute to access national and international communication systems.  The Institute also offers a full range of information processing support, including Chinese Full-Text Processing.
