International Document Delivery Service

Home > Interlibrary Loans and Copying > International Document Delivery Service

Document Delivery Service (DDS) allows users to request books and copied materials, not included in our library collection, from other participating libraries via the interlibrary loan.

To meet the research needs of our faculty in Academia Sinica, and to increase access to academic resources and complement other library collections in Taiwan, the Computing Center of Academia Sinica has reached preliminary agreements with the University of California, San Diego, and the University of California, Berkeley. Under these agreements, users can request original research documents through OCLC (Online Computer Library Center), provided that the requested documents are not accessible via NDDS.

Due to increased research demands and the rapid growth in the number of applications since 2009, the Center has established budget limits for each department. If the applications exceed budget limits, any additional fees and mailing expenses are to be paid by the applying institute.

Request for International Document Delivery Service:

Please note: Before making a request of the International Document Delivery Service, please first search the joint catalog in NDDS to determine that your requested materials are not in any of the library collections in Taiwan.
