圖書館委員會的前身為圖書小組，於民國七十七年改制，其主要 任務為協助所長督導圖書館業務的推動。
本會設委員五人， 行政主管副所長及圖書館主任為當然委員， 其他三人由所務會議推選。召集 人由委員互選，連選得連任一次。委員會每年舉行二至四次例會。
