摘要：
In this paper, I explore steps toward reimagining and retheorizing hope in the Nuclear Age, 80 years later, drawing on my ongoing fieldwork concerning local efforts to promote nuclear disarmament and nuclear justice in various U.S. cities and localities. Inspired by theories and practices of futurity and relationality in Indigenous North America, this exploration involves examining the persistent tension between the temporality of the “nuclear winter” apocalypse and the temporality of memory and fear of past and ongoing nuclear harm.
