《韓國巫師與社會劇變：四十年的觀察》
《Forty Years of Korean Shamans》
Laurel Kendall教授是研究韓國巫師與社會變遷最有成就的人類學者。從農業社會到都市化和高科技社會，她長期觀察韓國以女性為主且於儀式中為神靈附身的巫師，由原先的迷信象徵蛻變為國家文化財、在金錢掛帥的消費社會中為傳統儀式注入新的想像，而巫壇中的神明畫像也成為博物館收藏的藝術品之劇變過程。
